The Kremlin has slammed a “dangerous” decision by Ukraine’s allies to lift the ban on Kyiv firing long-range missiles into Russia after German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said there were no longer any range restrictions on Western-supplied weapons.

Ukraine’s European allies have lifted any restrictions on the country firing long-range missiles against Russia after the latter’s massive drone attack over the weekend. Russia launched around 900 drones between Friday and Sunday,

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has pledged to help Ukraine develop its own long-range missile systems that would be free of any Western-imposed limitations on their range and targets.
