The BIG3 basketball league and co-founder Ice Cube won't be making an aggressive play to sign Chicago Sky star Angel Reese like it did last year for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.

Angel Reese is on the verge of a WNBA suspension. The Indiana Fever took on the Chicago Sky on Sunday afternoon. Neither Reese nor Caitlin Clark were in action. The Fever topped the Sky, 93-78, to improve to 14-12 on the season.

As outspoken as any player in the league, Reese threatened a lockout months ago when advocating for higher player salaries on social media, and nearly two weeks ago she made it clear the players are willing to keep fighting for a bigger piece of the revenue pie.
