The Big Ten commissioner has been outspoken in his belief when it comes to a new format for the College Football Playoff. And he has grounds to stand on with two straight titles.

Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti delivered his state-of-the-conference address Tuesday at Big Ten Football Media Days in Las Vegas, highlighting the conference's 13 national championships (two by Penn State) its nine other NCAA finalists. He also noted that the Big Ten played in eight of the 11 College Football Playoff games last season.

At the Big Ten's first-ever media day in Nevada on Tuesday, a portion of commissioner Tony Petitti's opening address suggested College Football Playoff odds are stacked against his conference.
