The Dallas Wings had a lot of momentum entering Friday’s matchup against the Golden State Valkyries. This is after Paige Bueckers and Co. blew out the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, 87-63, in their first game back following the WNBA All-Star break.

Dallas and Las Vegas just met two weeks ago in Dallas, with the Aces coming away with a tight 90-86 win. Wilson showed her dominant side in that game, going for a ridiculous 37 points and 10 rebounds on 15/25 shooting. Paige Bueckers gave a best effort, going for 20 points, but it was hard to overcome Wilson's incredible effort.

The victory snapped a four-game losing streak and the Wings showcased a true team effort coming out of the WNBA All-Star break. All-Star guard Paige Bueckers stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, four rebounds and six assists,

Golden State Valkyries forward Kayla Thornton will miss Friday’s game against the Dallas Wings due to a lower leg injury.

On Tuesday, the Dallas Wings broke their four-game losing streak, toppling the Seattle Storm 87-63. The Wings were led by Arike Ogunbowale's 20 points, and rookie sensation Paige Bueckers added six assists for good measure.

Berger, the seventh overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft, is expected to be available for Friday’s game against Golden State.
