Five Democrats traveled to Louisiana on Tuesday to visit the ICE facilities where Mahmoud Khalil and Rumeysa Ozturk have been held custody.

U.S. Rep. Troy Carter and a team of other Democrats visited Louisiana facilities that are holding Mahmoud Khalil, Rümeysa Öztürk, and Wendy Brito, three prominent immigrants President Donald Trump's administration wants to deport.

A delegation of congressional members traveled to Louisiana Tuesday to demand the release of Mahmoud Khalil and Rumeysa Ozturk and inspect conditions at the two Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facilities where the two remain in custody.
