Following a White House meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President Donald Trump says he's reached a trade agreement

The tariff rate for goods imported into the U.S. from both the Philippines and Indonesia will be 19%, the president said.

President Donald Trump announced a trade deal July 22 with the Philippines, hours after the leader of the country paid a visit to the Oval Office ahead of an Aug. 1 reciprocal tariffs deadline. The Southeast Asian country would pay a 19% tariff, Trump said.
