Accused Minnesota assassin Vance Boelter's alleged plan to kill more politicians on his target list was foiled by a police sergeant's proactive hunch.

Illinois U.S. Rep. Nikki Budzinski's said her name was included in notes left behind by Vance Boelter, the man charged with killing a Minnesota lawmaker and injuring another.

The suspect built a scattered career ranging from food to retailing to private security to pastoring, public records and his online postings show.
