Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who appeared in just one series during the 2024 preseason, says he would "love" to take on a larger role in game action this August.

The Miami Dolphins’ most recent postseason victory came on Dec. 30, 2000. Since that win, the Dolphins have made the playoffs five times in 24 seasons, including back-to-back appearances in 2022 and 2023. But in 2024, Miami slipped to an 8-9 regular-season showing.

While the Dolphins probably like that their quarterback has the humility to be open to preseason snaps, a major priority for the team this season is to keep Tagovailoa healthy. The six games he missed last season are arguably the biggest reason why the Dolphins didn't get back to the playoffs.
