Murray State and No. 15 UCLA saw their first action of the 2025 Men's College World Series on Saturday, where the former’s ongoing Cinderella story hit a bit of a snag in Game 3 after the Bruins’ 6-4 win.

Murray State won a regional at Ole Miss and a super regional at Duke to become the fourth No. 4 seed to make it to Omaha. The Racers are led by Dan Skirka, the national coach of the year who had a pit stop at Ouachita Baptist early in his coaching career.

Coach John Savage and the UCLA Bruins are making their first College World Series appearance since 2013, when they won the national championship, and are the only Big Ten representative in the tournament, giving them an advantage no one else has.
