Six-time world champion Roman Reigns is heading to the main event of WrestleMania 42 after winning the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The OTC last eliminated Gunther to secure the second Rumble victory of his career.

30 male and 30 female superstars will participate in their respective matches with an aim to earn a title opportunity at Wrestlemania.

The flagship matches of the show would be the men's and women's Royal Rumble matches, with the winner advancing to WrestleMania and getting to choose the champion they want to face.
