Keaton Wagler, a freshman guard from Illinois, has been named The Associated Press national player of the week in men's college basketball.
Illinois 88, Purdue 82: Keaton Wagler scored 46 points, including a program-record nine 3-pointers, to mark the most points ever scored by an opponent at Purdue's Mackey Arena. The freshman scored 24 first-half points as the Illini trailed by as many as 11, but rallied for the top-5 upset.
