Bird Call: Distressed Bald Eagle Rescued From Floating Ice In Hudson River
A bald eagle in distress was saved last week by what the New York Police Department termed “eagle-eyed cops” who spotted it stranded on a floating piece of ice.
Eagles most commonly get lead poisoning by eating deer carcasses that have been shot by lead bullets from hunters.
