Parts of England and Wales are already under amber weather warnings as heavy rain is predicted in the Met Office's latest weather forecast
Flooding is continuing to cause problems in parts of Wales after heavy rain hit large parts of the country this week. A severe flood warning – meaning danger to life – remains in place at Kiln Caravan Park in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, while a flood warning was also issued for The Quay in Carmarthen.
Heavy rain across south Wales has led to road closures and seen buildings hit by flooding. The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for rain which covered much of south Wales from midday on Tuesday and remains in place until 8am today.
Flood warnings have been issued for much of Wales following a night of heavy rain, with flooding expected for properties along the Teifi.
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain which could cause flooding is in place across Wales. South and mid Wales are expected to bear the brunt of the wet weather, with the warning in place from 07:00 GMT until 23:59 GMT on Tuesday, the Met Office has said.
These are the areas affected by Wednesday's weather warning include Powys, Carmarthenshire, and Neath Port Talbot The Met Office said that heavy and prolonged rain during Friday into early Saturday could lead to some flooding and disruption.
