First lady Melania Trump released an official portrait Monday, a week after her husband Donald Trump was sworn as the 47th President.

The black-and-white photo is presumably meant to convey a sense of power and control as she settles into the White House again.

The president is taking optics more seriously. Now it seems the first lady has taken a leaf out of her husband’s book.
