Shohei Ohtani has co-written a children's book featuring his dog, Decoy. The Los Angeles Dodgers star shared the news Thursday on Instagram, posting a photo of Decoy, a Dutch Kooikerhondje, with the book.
Injuries may have prevented Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani from throwing from the mound recently, but they haven’t stopped him from coming up with a new pitch: co-writing a children’s book based on his baseball-fetching dog Decoy.
Apparently re-writing the record books was not quite enough for Shohei Ohtani. Now he's writing his own book. The three-time MVP and two-way superstar will soon be able to add published author to his lengthy list of accomplishments.
The Los Angeles Dodgers star co-authored the 32-page book with Michael Blank and it is set to release next February.
