The Boston Public Schools student killed in a pedestrian crash in the Hyde Park area of Boston on Monday has been identified as a 5-year-old boy, Boston police said Tuesday. At around 2:44 p.m., officers learned of a pedestrian struck by a school bus at 107 Washington St.

The boy was on his way home from school and had just gotten off the bus in Hyde Park when he was struck, authorities said.
