WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court seemed likely to uphold a key preventive-care provision of the Affordable Care Act in a case heard Monday.

The justices heard arguments in a constitutional challenge to a task force that decides what treatments are covered at no cost.

The case — Kennedy v. Braidwood Management — questions the way that the government under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) decides which preventive care services should be covered at no cost to patients.
