The moon officially has a new crater. On August 5, a SpaceX Falcon 9 upper stage smacked into the face of our natural satellite at an estimated 5,400 miles an hour—several times the speed of sound. Astronomers predicted the crash would cause a plume of debris to rise up off the moon,
