Ohio Republicans are mulling election changes as President Donald Trump targets absentee ballots and noncitizen voting.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - All 818 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) schools will be voting from November 17-21 on whether or not to allow high school students to profit off their Name Image and Likeness (NIL).

Voters decided on several school levies, local issues and key races, notably for mayor of Cleveland and mayor of Cleveland Heights. Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb spoke out Tuesday night, declaring victory over his opponent during an election watch party event.

Currently, ballots can be received by board of elections offices up to four days after an election. Under the bill, absentee ballots must be returned on or before Election Day. The bill sponsors say 34 states already require that. Ohio would be the 35th. They say it would bring Ohio in line with federal election law.

One Senate seat is up for election in Ohio, held by a Democratic incumbent. Voters will also choose representatives for 16 House seats, four of which are held by Democrats and 12 by Republicans. And they will select a governor,
