A Maine man was killed in an explosion Friday while using a propane torch to thaw a frozen water tank on a commercial truck, according to Maine State Police. Kerry Holmes, 66, was pronounced dead at the scene of the explosion in Molunkus, a township in Aroostook County in northern Maine, State Police said in a statement.

A resident found the remains Saturday afternoon in Garcelon Bog, Maine authorities said.
