Chicago Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong has taken his game to another level during the 2025 MLB regular season. He showed signs of figuring things out in the second half of the 2024 campaign and has built upon that in a major way this year.

Adding that swing above the zone to his proven power below the zone, Crow-Armstrong became the first player to homer on one pitch at least 3.9 feet off the ground and another less than .9 feet off the ground in the same season in the Statcast era (since 2015), according to mlb.com.

The red hot Cubs centerfielder said it was "cool" to hit a home run way outside the zone in their 3-2 win over the Pirates.
