Walmart is eliminating hundreds of roles and closing one of its North Carolina offices as it moves to relocate employees to its main hubs in California and Arkansas, Fox News reported on Tuesday, citing an internal memo.

Walmart did not say how many employees would be affected or what severance packages they would get if they chose not to relocate. The announcement was made in a memo sent to U.S.-based office employees by Walmart's Chief People Officer Donna Morris.
