Lynne Marie Stewart, comedy actress best known for her role on CBS’ Pee-wee's Playhouse, passed away on February 21 at the age of 78.

Stewart, a Los Angeles native, met Paul Reubens, Pee-wee Herman himself, as a member of the Groundlings in the 1970s. At the Groundlings, Stewart also met Phil Hartman, who played Captain Carl on “Pee-wee’s Playhouse.”
