Chris Paul is returning to the site of some of his best seasons. The 40-year-old point guard agreed to a contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to reports, reuniting him with the franchise that he spent six seasons with from 2011-17. It’s a one-year, $3.6 million deal, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.

Chris Paul (40 years old and 1.83 meters) has announced that he will only play one more season in the NBA before retiring.

A top trade candidate this offseason came off the board on Saturday when the Los Angeles Lakers agreed to sign former Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart to a two-year, $11 million deal following his buyout by the Washington Wizards,
