Ocean Infinity will survey a 5,800-square-mile (15,000-square-kilometer) section of the southern Indian Ocean. The search was previously halted in April due to poor weather. The new effort will rely on advanced unmanned underwater vehicles equipped with high-resolution imaging systems to scan the seabed.
