England beat Spain 3-1 in a penalty shootout to win Euro 2025, successfully defending the title they won in 2022 after an enthralling encounter.

England won Euro 2025 and retained their European crown after beating Spain on penalties. Spain dominated much of the game and took the lead midway through the first half after Mariona Caldentey found the net. England, however, dug in and equalised after the break when Alessia Russo headed home Chloe Kelly’s cross.
