According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the Loma Linda Hospital was cleared and the incident appeared to be a swatting call.

Investigators believe a Wednesday evening, March 12, call about an armed man in the children’s section of the Loma Linda University Medical Center that prompted evacuations and a response of 100-plus officers from across the region was a hoax, authorities said. There were no injuries, and no gunshots fired, they said.
