Rohit Sharma revealed why Virat Kohli isn't featuring in the first ODI between India and England at VCA stadium in Nagpur.

Star India batter Virat Kohli was ruled out of the first One-Day International against England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday.

This three-match series against England marks India's last ODI assignment before the Champions Trophy, which begins on February 19. The team has not played ODI cricket since August last year, when they lost a three-match series 2-0 in Sri Lanka, with one game ending in a tie.

Virat Kohli is forced to miss the first ODI of the series, with Yashasvi Jaiswal making his debut in the format.
