The Cornatzer-Dulin Volunteer Fire Department says Lt. Jonathan Bowman is getting surgery for a fractured arm.

A massive wildfire raging in CA for the past three days has ravaged more than 70,000 acres, as hundreds of firefighters fought to bring it under control.

Caroline Fire initially started 7 p.m. June 30 in Siskiyou County, California. After being active for five days, it has burned seven acres of federal land managed by the United States Forest Service.
