All Elite Wrestling made history on June 18 as the first American wrestling company to broadcast live from Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. Teaming with CMLL, AEW delivered Grand Slam: Mexico.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that AEW Grand Slam Mexico drew 736,000 viewers on TBS. This number is up from AEW Summer Blockbsuter, which was a four hour event, and drew 497,000 viewers. AEW Grand Slam Mexico posted a 0.21 rating in the 18 to 49 demograhic, up from the 0.13 demo rating of AEW Summer Blockbuster.

Fans got a big surprise after AEW Grand Slam Mexico went air off as Bryan Danielson made his shocking return. AEW Grand Slam Mexico took place in Mexico City, Mexico, at Arena México. The show highlighted the growing partnership between AEW and CMLL,
