BERLIN (Reuters) -Bayern Munich secured their 34th German league title on Sunday without kicking a ball after title rivals Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 draw at Freiburg, leaving the leaders with an unassailable eight-point lead with two games left to play.

It's a 34th Bundesliga crown for Bayern, and a second divisional trophy for manager Vincent Kompany after leading Burnley to the Championship in 2022-23.

Bayern Munich officially clinched the 2024-25 Bundesliga title on Sunday without playing as rivals Bayer Leverkusen drew 2-2 at Freiburg. Bayern were seconds away from wrapping up matters on Saturday but then conceded a last-gasp 3-3 equalizer at RB Leipzig.
