Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is in federal court for a second day in a landmark federal antitrust trial accusing Meta of being a monopoly.

FTC chair Andrew Ferguson and Meta’s new global policy chief, Joel Kaplan, were seated inside the courtroom yesterday but absent today. Tomorrow, we’ll probably see more of Zuckerberg on the stand and then testimony by ex-Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg.

Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg has taken the witness stand in a landmark antitrust trial to defend his company against allegations that his company operates a social media monopoly. His testimony is part of a case first brought by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in 2020 during the final days of the first Trump administration.
