McDonald’s is bringing back McDonaldland, a whimsical land filled with “apple pie trees and hamburger patches,” for the first time in more than two decades. McDonaldland was introduced to guests in 1971.

McDonaldland Meal comes with the choice of a Quarter Pounder with cheese or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries and the brand-new Mt. McDonaldland Shake. The colorful shake is inspired by the blue lava and pink clouds of the mythical volcano, according to a press release.

With its brightly colored, made-to-go-viral specialty shake, the McDonaldland meal draws from decades of cultural familiarity.
