Extending things to a sixth game, the Detroit Pistons have more than held their own against the New York Knicks. Prior to the action resuming on Thursday night, Jalen Brunson touched on staying in the right frame of mind in such a crucial matchup.

It’s also time for Tom Thibodeau to amp up the two-man game with Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. KAT showed off his range with clutch shots in Detroit earlier in the series, and the Knicks’ easiest path to points surely involves more of that pick-and-pop action.

It wasn't until 27 seconds left that Brunson was finally able to enter the game. By then, they trailed by six points. Brunson addressed the concern of the Knicks' lack of ability to put together a full game. "I feel like we've had spurts of where we let off the gas a little bit," Brunson said. "But we're just striving to play for 48 minutes."
