A group of elected officials in Louisiana have raised concerns that Kendrick Lamar's halftime show will violate the state's community decency standards.

A group from the Louisiana Legislature said the state should get some say in who performs when the Super Bowl is in New Orleans, and those performances should be more 'family-friendly.' No lawmakers from New Orleans signed the letter.

The lawmakers suggested that several previous Super Bowl halftime shows were not “welcomed by Louisiana parents.”

Hodges told the host that her family of avid football fans has had to, over the past "several" Super Bowls, avoid watching the "increasingly more inappropriate and more vulgar" performances through the years.
