The Spurs are expected to hire Corliss Williamson as an assistant coach on new head coach Mitch Johnson’s staff, league sources tell @TheSteinLine. Williamson played for four NBA teams after being drafted out of Arkansas and spent the past two seasons on Minnesota’s bench.

The Arkansas native's playing career included winning a national title at Arkansas in 1994 and a Sixth Man of the Year and NBA title with the Pistons in 2004.
