Brentuximab vedotin (brand name Adcetris) is an antibody-drug conjugate medication used to treat relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). It combines an anti-CD30 antibody with the drug monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). The drug is administered through infusion into a vein once every 2 or 3 weeks. It works by causing the immune system to attack lymphoma cells with the CD30 protein and disrupting functions critical to cell growth.
