This Gauri Habba and Ganesha Chathurthi, we explore a rather unique piece of art portraying both mother and son - Parvati/Gauri and Ganesha - from the heartland of the Vijayanagara Empire, Hampi. My only sources for this are the sculpture itself and the nearby ASI plaque.
