🌵 One of my favorite pieces to paint but this time with a saguaro. I call these my wild sunset collection, and I've painted these with Cereus, Prickly Pear, and Wild Barrels. I can't believe it took me this long to create a version with my favorite cactus, the saguaro. I love this style because I paint loosely with the sunset colors and I went a little crazy with the bright colors on the saguaro. I think it turned out awesome. It’s great for soft washes and layering, making it perfect for creating gentle, delicate effects. 🎨 Gouache is more opaque, so it covers paper with solid, vibrant colours. This makes it ideal for bold shapes, sharp details, and layering without seeing through to the bottom layers.
