Carhartt Repair, Part Two - Before I start to make a plan for how I’m going to approach the repair, I wanted to get a nice clean slate. I did an initial wash just to knocked out any surface dirt. And then while the jacket was still wet, I went back in with a paste of Dawn soap and baking soda and scrubbed soiled sections really well with a toothbrush.
