Pocono Mountains Hiking
This week we headed back to the Pocono Mountains for a family trip. We rented a cabin tucked into the woods, and the whole crew came along — even the kids’ significant others. In between the family time, we made plenty of room for getting out into the mountains to explore and do some herping. There’s a rocky hillside I’ve visited a few times over the years — one I’ve long suspected might be a timber rattlesnake den. This time, that hunch finally paid off.
