Today our friends from Burden's Muffler & Towing helped us separate the water tank from the frame of the Polson #90's tender. It was a windy day, but the wind speeds dropped sufficiently to allow us to do the lift, right as the crane arrived. The team had spent the previous week removing various attachments such as the manhole cover and grab irons, and preparing the tank for the lift. The water tank is 5000 gallons in capacity and weighs in at 16,000lbs. Next up the trucks and frame will be plac
