Did you know Magdalen wasn’t always in Oxford? Medieval Oxford is visible through all the layers of Oxford’s history. The Castle mound dates from 1057, and you can still find remnants of the old wall in Merton and New College. But did you know that, in Medieval Oxford, Magdalen was actually ✨outside the walls✨?
