Wildlife and Rodenticides ⚠️ Earlier this week a young female opossum was admitted to our wildlife hospital after someone noticed her inside an active rodenticide box. These fatal boxes are intended as a method for rodent control. They are filled with poisonous food that attracts the animals inside. Once they ingest the poison, the rodent will exit the box and slowly succumb to the toxins.
